House of Harlow

So to continue my obsession with Ms Richie heres another post in dedication to my style icon.  As mentioned previously her product lines are gorgeous they capture a really bohemian, vintage but highly unique feel and look, unfortunately as they are a little harder to get hold of in the UK they come with a hefty price tag usually.... until Primark stepped in and did an amazing copy for £2.50 I believe?  I bought it a while ago and it had been released in variety of colour ways, but I love this black, gold & white version.  It is practically the same ring I couldn't believe it when I saw it. So any House of Harlow fans get yourselves to Primark.
Now if Primark could only do one of these :)

Ok so I really need to get a grip of this...

...I need to update this more often however feeling truly inspired today will probably push on a few posts and then who knows when ill be back again.
So at the moment I am feeling really inspired, fashion has taken over my life and my bank account which is never so good.  However I have loads of stuff ready to go on ebay so I really need to pull my finger out and get that sold so ill be sure to mention that on here, there might be a little gem in there for you who's reading this :)
I am getting extremely excited about Christmas and my upcoming birthday which is odd for me as for the last two years I haven't been, so I thought my Christmas spirit had completely vanished but a series of fortunate and exciting events has spurred me on!  So when it turns to Christmas and the New Year the high street is brimming with sequinned delights, which becomes kind of a bore really especially when you have your heart set on the one certain something, like moi, which you cant get hold of or afford.  For me it is this 'custom' piece from her own Winter Kate line that Nicole Richie wore to a New Years event last year and I have been in love with it ever since.  I have a massive obsession with Nicole anyway her style is amazing and her clothing and accessory lines are gorgeous.  However there was no way on earth I was getting my hands on this dress ever..... until I waited almost a year, and the wonderful people at theoutnet.com made it available at a highly discounted price.  I will be styling it a la Nicole keeping it very simple with black tights and shoes and a large cocktail ring, not to glam it up too much with accessories as the dress is all the glam I will need. Up until my jaw dropping purchase here are some of the options I was considering:

Gorgeous maxi from River Island
Shorter version again River Island

New Look £19.99 best price
Stunning Kelly Brook in New Look which I think they have sneakily never released

Gorgeous Mary Kate Olsen in her  a dress from her own line Elizabeth & James could never find this one either :( maybe one day
I think you have to be really careful with sequins you really do get what you pay for, so always keep this in consideration.  Well lit images on the internet can be really inviting but don't get your hopes up if you find a bargain price tag don't be fooled into thinking your getting an amazing designer equivalent.  I was really disappointed by all the gold high street dresses when I saw them in the flesh, however the River Island one was probably the one I found the best.  Also sequins are scratchy to wear so thats why I opted for a long sleeve option so the sequins can rub against themselves rather than the inside flesh of my arm. I do have really sensitive skin though so this may not be the case for some, but I opt to be comfortable as well as fashionable.
